(So this is a bit of an odd message that Lucretia has been trying to figure out how to word for a good ten minutes or so. How exactly do you broach the subject of having won somebody's time in an auction? And that you're going to use that time to kind of ask them out to lunch or something?? It's not like Bill doesn't know this is the case, either, and that only makes it all the more nerve-wracking.

Lucretia knows she is, as usual, overthinking the situation. Eventually, she forces herself to just give Bill a call like a normal fucking person would because though she'd love to hide behind a text message, it feels far too clinical given the circumstances.

How do Taako and Lup do things like this. She frowns and taps her fingers restlessly as the call connects.)

[[ooc: The IPRE are throwing a dinner party at Casa Del Taaco! There will be a mingle going up November 18, which characters will know by the enchanted countdown on the invite (once it hits zero, illusory glitter will burst from the invite and Taako's voice will tell them that they're running late). The theme is speakeasy but characters are free to be relatively loose with it, just have fun! If your character would want to bring a plus one, please let their player know (you can let me know too if you’d like) so they can join in on the mingle when it goes up.
